Coastal Luxe

Inspired by the colours, shapes and forms of the coastal landscape, this scheme was designed using grasses to emulate the sand dunes, succulents and tillandsia as a nod to the star like shapes and forms of the tough plants that cling to the rocky shorelines and cliffs, as well in the flora and fauna of the rock-pools filled with grassy fronds of sea weed and anemones.

Soft greens and blues pick up the tones of the landscape when shrouded in sea mist and the reflection of soft light and colour on the coastal waters. The country church path runner was inspired by the wild flowers and foxgloves that are abundant in the hedgerows around the coastal villages in springtime, white foxgloves being used instead of the native pink to tie in with the gentle neutral colour scheme.
